My name is Barb Rhodes, I obtained my associates degree in teaching from Moberly area Community College in May of 2013. I went on to obtain my Bachelor degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from Grand Canyon University. I have worked with students who have Autism, extreme behavioral issues as well as other disorders. I also helped students in the general education classroom while working on getting my degree. I believe each and every child has the potential to bring something unique and special to the future. Every child should develop a love for learning, and I believe that every child responds to people who make them feel appreciated and respected, people who challenge them and inspire them, and people who reward their successes and encourage them to improve. As an educator it is my desire to help my students meet all the potential that they have and not point out all their mistakes but rather help them fix the things they do wrong. |
